Chris and Alan Ward - Our Directors
Alan established UMS in 2006 following a sales career with a leading meter manufacturer. The experience bought forward, along with a clear vision of how the industry could better serve its customers, led to the founding of UMS. With it came an opportunity and freedom to specify solutions, deliver services and make unbiased equipment selections that are appropriate for each clients use case; at all times optimised for value.
Chris Joined UMS with a Masters degree in Renewable Energy Systems, having spent an early career in both frontline and corporate roles within the Waste and Recycling sector. Building from this, Chris aims to combine and balance the applied skills and delivery-first approach of frontline trades, with the assurance, eye for detail and business integrity of professional services - making UMS an ideal partner for delivering multi-disciplinary, complexed projects to exacting standards.
