Meter Fault Finding and correction
Wiring faults are very common with current transformer (CT) operated meters, ranging from simple CT polarity problems to complex wiring faults involving both current and voltage inputs.
This can be a serious problem for a commercial landlord in terms of loss of revenue because if the meter has wiring faults it will always under record electricity consumption.
Using our extensive experience and a range of tools we will identify and correct the fault, often without the need to isolate the supply
Meter Installation
We offer a professional installation and commissioning service. Our engineers will fit the meters, set them up and check that they are working correctly. At the end of the installation process we will provide a report detailing all the information you need to operate and read the meters.
Turnkey Solutions
UMS can provide a turnkey solution for all your metering requirements including water, gas, steam, provide a data collection system and a reporting mechanism either via the web or PC based server software.

UMS always fit meter fuses and current transformer shorting links so that the meter can be safely isolated at any time
